#Nagaleaks is the biggest threat to Leni Robredo's brand which projects an image of a super clean government because it shatters the image of Jesse Robredo as a symbol of a squeaky clean politician.
The thing about #Nagaleaks is that it managed to cast a shadow of doubt among Leni's supporters and some of her supporters are wondering whether or not the image of Jesse Robredo is just a myth.
And making matters worse is the odd way her team is handling the issue. By being silent, they have given the impression of an admission of guilt.
Instead of meeting the accusations head-on, Robredo's team has opted to act defensively by keeping quiet. Her silence makes her look like she is afraid and is hoping that the issue will just go away.
Ordinarily, when issues are thrown at her, her team and other defenders are quick to come up with a rebuttal, but somehow it isn't the case this time.
