Updated as of June 3, 2016 - A ruined trust, no matter how hard one may try to win it back, will already be forever ruined. Though forgiven, surely, it's never forgotten. As we know, it's not something to be imposed, but to be earned. And being biased is the and quickest way to break such in no time.
In media, on the other hand, losing it is the worst thing that could ever happen to them. For taking sides, no matter how tremendous they attempt to it perfectly, still naturally unfolds - long before they know it.
Voters of today are too smart to be lied to and too keen to be fooled. Everyone are just too sick and tired of tolerating the same old thing that's happening in the country - rotten government system full of redtape, profound increase in poverty, noticeable rise in , highways that seem parking lots due to steadfast metro traffic, and the undying problem that burdens the mass Filipinos - corruption.
Trying to the vast majority of the Filipinos wouldn't just work and will sure leave them in that could possibly the modern version of EDSA people power by today's ' hungry for imminent change.
Read the Open Letter below of one of Duterte supporters and find out how disappointed he is to the Philippine Media.
OPEN LETTER TO THE PHILIPPINE MEDIA:
Dear Philippine Media,
Thank you for showing your true colors at the height of the electionperiod. Now the whole country knows how UNRELIABLE and BIASED you really are. I sincerely you for making all efforts.
I only have one piece of advise for you. Now that Mayor Duterte is leading in surveys and will soon become the NEXT PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES, I suggest you become wise and change side. Since you are already biased, how about changing gears inof the Mayor? Not bad right?
Besides, the/s you are trying to cover up are way behind the surveys. I'm quite certain after they lose this election, they will travel abroad and the inevitable persecution of the law because of their anomalies. AND YOU, THE MEDIA, will be left here in the country and will have to deal with a Duterte Presidency.
So be shrewd. Be proactive. Support Mayor Duterte while you still have time.
