The only approach to prevent #lumadkillings presented by Philippine media is government-centric.
Meaning,
- a politician will pass a law
- the law will be enforced by government
- one arm/hand/finger of government will be restrained
- by another arm/hand/finger of government
How does that look like really?
One finger of government, restraining the other finger of government.
What other options are there? History actually has a lot of lessons for the lumads.
After all the indigenous lumads can learn something from the indigenous Native Americans – the Apaches, the Siouxee, the Mohawks, etc. – yes?
Or perhaps something more contemporary?
You see, when the Philippine presstitute media’s whore’s start talking – laglag bala, lumad killings or what not.
I listen to what they are not saying.
Then the truth makes itself known.
And that’s the sort of news that rings loud and clear.
