Hi Pare,
I knew you would say that but, I guess a lot of people who new Lino just underestimated him. He actually wrote the book well before the death of Elsa (God bless her) and later on got help from his young wife, a foreign service graduate. The title of the book is "Born to be a Hero" which is inspired by the life of Dr. Jose Rizal and it's in english, some french references and tagalog. By the way the book is a dedication to Elsa.
I'm not trying to defend Lino but I guess each one of us can have his own opinion but i can say that Lino has helped and done a lot for pinoys here more than anybody else who are more, lets say educated, better-off and a lot of "hangin" if you know what I mean.
Concerning his relationship with his sons, well, walang kadugo pagka-pera ang pinag-uusapan and we have seen this happen many times, hindi ba? No comment na lang. OK, thanks for your time.
Cheers
bhoy

Editor’s Note: Following the September 11 tragedy, all telephone and internet companies are obliged to conserve their records for a minimum of 5 years and a maximum of 10. In case of a litigation wherein the originator would deny categorically to have sent a contentious message, the recipient concerned can file personally for a court injunction so that he could obtain from the Internet provider the original copy which he would subsequently present it as a hard proof, regardless on the question of ones right to privacy. Speaking strictly from the legal point of view, perjury is severely punished anywhere in the world according to the prevailing laws being practiced where the crime was committed!

According to Wikipedia, perjury is the act of lying or making verifiably false statements on a material matter under oath or affirmation in a court of law or in any of various sworn statements in writing. Perjury is a crime because the witness has sworn to tell the truth and, for the credibility of the court, witness testimony must be relied on as being truthful. Perjury is considered a very serious crime as it could be used to usurp the power of the courts, resulting in miscarriages of justice. In the United States, for example, the general perjury statute under Federal law provides for a prison sentence of up to five years!
