OFW employment agencies are slave traders. Put in this way, it does not sound right.
Philippines Overseas Employment Agency [POEA] is the official government agency in charged of the OFW slave traders.
I thought we had abolished slavery a long time ago. Naaa... We just replaced it with a better social title - NHS, for new hero slaves.
The OFWs don't have a choice, they find jobs abroad and are better paid than the local slaves.
Why give this MODERN SLAVERY a bad connotation? The modern slaves are unlike the ancient slaves owned by their masters and devoid of freedom.
But aren't today's modern slaves still own [by the elite, aided by its partners like the Church] and has very little freedom or no freedom at all?
No freedom? Democracy under God guarantees freedom to pursue the good life.
When one cannot attain a good life, isn't he equal to one who does not have freedom? The freedom to choose between opportunities to attain the good life is hampered by the personal designs of the elite and their partners - like the RCC.
Democratic freedom where no adequate jobs can be found is a useless right or
privilege - a right or privilege that cannot be exercised is tantamount to not having democratic freedom. God approved democracy. In God democracy trusts.
Democratic freedom defends God's created life. When jobs can't be found freely in RP the Filipino lives with no freedom cannot defend God's created life.
When there are 500 applicants for one job, what happens to 499 God-created lives that do not get a job?
God's creation must be protected and prudently cared. Would a Family Planning program that produces 500 God-created applicants for one job be compensating before God's eyes?
Ah, what has the Bishops to say about this?
Would they still want to contest the RH Bill signed by Pnoy?
