Associate Justice Angelina Sandoval-Gutierrez

1. Be part of the solution, not part of the problem

2. Lawyers should promote justice...

3. Uphold the truth, be willing to serve, keep abreast with latest
developments, be an indispensable instrument of justice...

4. Take on a responsibility above and apart from the rest of society.

5. Commit yourselves to new obligations, standards, and principles.

6. Never mislead the Court by artifice or false statement nor to employ means to advance a client's cause, except those which are consistent with truth and honor.

7. Be prepared to serve,... law is not an instrument for accumulation of wealth.

8. Law is a profession, not a trade.

9. Law does not distinguish between the rights of the wealthy and those of the poor.

10. Do not discriminate.

11. Never refuse a just cause simply because the client is destitute.

12. Be prayerful... as prayers are for one's nourishment and shield in the calling.
