Why is the CHR and Church silent on Dengvaxia scandal?

It’s really odd that the outspoken Catholic Church and the Commission of Human Rights (CHR) are so quiet on the Dengvaxia issue.
Just recently the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee chaired by Senator Richard Gordon issued the draft report wherein the former president of the republic Benigno Simeon “Noynoy” Aquino III, ex-Health Secretary Janette Garin and other officials are “criminally liable” for the Dengvaxia scandal.  Former President Aquino, Ex DOH chief Garin , and former Budget Secretary Butch Abad were tagged in the committee report as “primary conspirators” in the controversial procurement of the P3.5 billion- worth of dengue vaccine- Dengvaxia.
And still no whatsoever coming from the church, CHR, human rights groups, and other non-governmental groups…. Would this mean they are still playing politics? They don’t want to chastise the Aquino administration? This Dengvaxia scandal is beyond politics because almost 1 million Filipino kids are at risk.   *

Volunteers Against Crime and Corruption (VACC) questions the silence of the Church and the Commission of Human Rights which is coincidentally chaired by a true blue Liberal Party stalwart – Jose Luis “Chito” Gascon, on the Dengvaxia scandal despite the deaths linked to the anti-dengue vaccine.
Dante Jimenez, chairman of the Volunteers Against Crime and Corruption (VACC), said unlike the alleged extrajudicial killings (EJK) as a result of the war against illegal drugs of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte’s administration, the anti-dengue immunization program of the previous Aquino government was clear as a day- a state sponsored endeavor.
“I’m just asking why CBCP, CHR and other righteous groups are silent on the Dengvaxia issue that has killed a number of children and has put the health of almost a million school children at risk,” Jimenez told The Manila Times.
The church and the human rights groups have been very active in criticizing and even blaming the Duterte administration for the deaths of suspected drug pushers in the illegal drug campaign.
“They have been claiming that the killings were state sponsored, but that has yet to be proven. But they are silent on Dengvaxia which was clearly funded by the Aquino government,” Jimenez said, referring to former President Benigno Aquino III.  *
P3.5 billion was spent by the previous administration for the purchase of the anti-dengue vaccines from Sanofi-Pasteur.
Even if the clinical test are still on going, the Aquino administration started the mass vaccination of almost 1 million school children from Metro Manila, Central Luzon, and Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon).
“There is no doubt that Dengvaxia is EJK,” Jimenez said. “I challenge the CBCP, CHR and other human rights advocates to come out and show their support for the thousands of vaccine victims.”
The Department of Health is feeling the backlash of the Dengvaxia mess with respect to those citizens who suddenly refused to be vaccinated in general.
The anti-dengue vaccine- Dengvaxia has affected the credibility of other vaccines as shown by the 37 percent decrease on the vaccination coverage in Central Luzon.
According to current Health Secretary Francisco Duque III, parents have refused to have their children inoculated by other vaccines because of the fear created by Dengvaxia.
