THE IFKOR CONFERENCE

By Rene Calalang
September 24, 2008

Mississauga-Ontario-Canada
September 11-13, 2008

In the history of mankind, the greatness of a man is measured not only when he was alive, but more so when he has been long dead. His physical body may have turned to dust or ashes, but his teachings; his greatness and his accomplishments will live forever. His legacy will affect, directly or indirectly, many lives and numerous kinds of people. Such is the case of Dr. Jose P. Rizal.

Open Forum

The greatness of Dr. Jose P. Rizal, national hero of the Philippines, was recalled and demonstrated in the recently concluded three-day International Conference on Rizal hosted by the International Federation of the Knights of Rizal (no connection to Knights of Rizal in Manila) on September 11-13 at Kalayaan Cultural Community Centre in Mississauga, Ontario.

It was a successful conference organized by active officers and some members of the federation. Notables are Sir Jun Zerrudo – the founding chairman, Sir Fran and Lady Pulumbarit, Sir Nick and Lady Jovy Alo, Sir Alexcs Trinidad, Sir Boy Malinay and Lady Luchi Sivilia.

It was a simple, no nonsense conference because the speakers, Filipinos and non-Filipinos alike, were either true experts on or very knowledgeable about Rizal. These are people who have spent many years of their lives, and are still spending immeasurable time researching, reading or writing about Rizal and tracing their hero’s travels to gain even more insight and understanding of the great man.

The first one to make a presentation was Professor Jean Quintero Hall, a professor of Humanities at Western New Mexico University. She spoke about “Rizalism as a cause: Its meaning and relevance in today’s world.”

Professor Jean Quintero Hall Making Her Presentation

And who would not be touched by Belgian NATO officer Sir Lucien Spittael’s two Power Point presentations of Rizal’s travels in Europe which he traced, taking the same boat and train trips that Rizal did, climbing all the same church towers which Rizal climbed, finding and comparing all the actual objects/sceneries/buildings/churches shown on Rizal’s sketches as mentioned in his diary during his Rhine trip.

Belgian NATO Officer Lucien Spattael Making His Power Point Presentation

Our very own Sir Voltaire de Leon, chairman of Rizal Society of Ontario, lectured on “Rizal the man: a scrutiny on the mind of a hero.

Sir Don Brennock, a human resources development professional and international labour support advocate from Dublin, Ireland spoke about “What it meant to be a Rizalist from the standpoint of a non-Filipino. It was based on the premise that Rizal was not just a Filipino hero but also an internationalist, whose greatness knows no bounds. He did this by comparing the Philippines with Ireland.

Sir Don Brennock Introducing Himself

As I have often wondered why Rizal is not as known and recognized as Mahatma Gandhi, Martin Luther King, Jr. and other men of note, this conference led me to believe that it’s only a matter of time before Rizal gets more recognition as website after website become available to showcase his greatness. As a Filipino Canadian I think the Filipinos should take the leading role in making sure this happens.

I was also very astonished to know, through this conference, that our national hero is probably more recognized in Europe than in Asia, as evidenced by his many statues, parks and monuments in many great European cities. But then again, he was a genius who also happened to be an internationalist.

Rene Calalang

For someone like yours truly who has never really been a very serious student on Rizal, this conference made me a serious one. And who would not.

With the success of the first one, attendees are looking forward to the next conference. It is also about time that you join us, in order to know more about this great man who we can truly call our own.

Only in knowing him can we truly appreciate his greatness.

PRAYER FOR SIR DON

Please pray with us for the safety of Sir Don and his speedy recovery:

Almighty Father, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, You have created us in Your own image, we humbly ask Your healing hands upon our friend Sir Don Brennock, re-create him once more, be with him at the hospital at this moment, and let Your presence known to him.

We believe in Your healing power and we trust and hope that You will hear our request for our ailing brother Sir Don. If it is Your will however that he should carry this cross of illness, then we humbly pray that You give him the strength and perseverance so that surgery can be accomplished without any problem or delay and will alleviate his present sufferings with the utmost safety as You guide the hands of the doctors, nurses and all the medical staff who will attend to him.

We believe Lord that there is no illness nor wound that You cannot heal, come and touch Sir Don's heart, let Your most precious blood and water flow to all the veins, arteries and cells of his heart to comfort all his pains, Yes Lord we believe, we hope and entrust Sir Don into Your hands.

We ask these in the name of Your Son Jesus, united with the Holy Spirit and the intercession of Mother Mary with all the Saints and Angels of God.

Amen.

Our love and prayers are with Sir Don.

WHERE'S JUSTICE ACCORDING TO RIZAL?

Classification: UNCLASSIFIED
Caveats: NONE

Wow!
Good Job Sir Dr Pablo Trillana III!
CONGRATULATIONS!
That's how it should be done, lift Rizalism up high!
You're on the right track, kind Sir!
Action speaks louder than words...!
(Lazir wonders why you were not voted KOR Supreme Commander, RY 2008-2010?)

Good work also Mr Rosero!
Lazir got it opened!
The combination of our Adobe Acrobat 8.0 and MS Publisher 2003 helped greatly.
Printable in color, as you fed the page!
Did you scan, colored?

Thanks to you both!

Any developments on the written accusations Lazir sent IHQ pls?

1. The unsolved plagiarism charges vs. Mr Paras... (IHQ losing docs is a bad sign...! Just letting this "slide away" is even WORSE a solution!)

2. The racistic e-mails of Mr Alcoba...(Sir Lucien reportedly forwarded those e-mails very recently to supreme commander...)

3. How about the forgery charges leveled against Mr Collantes, Canada? Lazir met Sir Ka Miling Silverio in person, 14 Sep 08. He is a kind man, very honorable a person, with bearing! A big contrast, compared to Mr Collantes...! Sir Ka Miling is apparently being "USED" or 'ABUSED", or both! perhaps wittingly or unwittingly!

4. Or the requested copy/ies of the recommendations to exalt Mr Guansing, Mr Nollas, Mr Alcoba? Since it was an exaltation, it should be something to be PROUD OF! Why keep this/these so SECRET?? Deserving or UNDESERVING? The request to have a copy of the back-up docs pertinent to this exaltation was sent about a year ago (Oct 2007?). Any development?

5. Or just what happened really to that estimated Euro 5,000 that Mr Mushake donated sometime 1999-2000 to KOR or IHQ, as per his telephone confirmation with Lazir, when Mr Quiambao was supposedly Supreme Commander (a London assembly showed his name as such)? Mr Esguerra said that IHQ has NO RECORDS of this donation? IHQ said they are checking with the bank, but then it became quiet AFTER saying that. ...and months are flying by! Granting that the Euro 5,000 (more or less) was spent for a Rizalian purpose, there should be some mention of this somewhere, right? In 2008 wouldn't seem appropriate...!

Just asking po!

To fly high, KOR must drop UNWANTED weights/baggage/s!

If KOR did attempt to rid itself of an honorable man, Sir Jun Zerrudo (complete with 64 pages of paper plus annexes!), while the man is actively PROPAGATING the ideas/ideals/principles of Dr Jose Rizal (IAW R.A. 646 to the letter!), in thoughts, in words, and in deeds, why can't IHQ investigate/prosecute/punish criminal acts (Plagiarism, Racism, Forgery and the like are criminal!)?

It is a Supreme Commander LET DOWN, a DISAPPOINTMENT bordering on INCOMPETENCE/IGNORANCE OF THE LAW to "hang" a Sir Jun Zerrudo and let go the likes of Mr Paras, Mr Alcoba, Mr Collantes, who committed criminal acts!

The blame doesn't go to the courageous reporter, but to IHQ top management -- the decision makers up above!

Such SHAMEFUL & SHAMELESS acts contribute to a dive in KOR integrity, credibility, respect!

By the way, R.A. 646 has NO such explicit PROHIBITION on use of any (KOR) logo, emblem, name in the PURSUIT OF RIZALISM for its own sake! Sir Jun is an illustrious Knight, for lifting the hero's name up high! His top-caliber IFKOR Conference proved how valid the National Hero's visions and words are, even in this 21st century!

However, anyone not possessing "good moral character", per Sec 4 of the same R.A. 646, CANNOT be a member nor be called a Knight! This is a PRE-CONDITION to membership in the KOR! Without "good moral character", one is quickly out!

Thru this alone, Mr Paras, Mr Alcoba, Mr Collantes and perhaps even Mr Esguerra (didn't he tolerate or approve the "exaltation" of Mr Alcoba to KGOR last July 2007, Paris, France?), Mr Quiambao (isn't he the godfather" of Mr Paras and Mr Collantes in the KOR, if not the one who pushed for their inclusion into this illustrious Order?). Now, if Mr Lopez, Mr Chavez will keep pushing for the dismissal of Sir Jun Zerrudo, they will also exit the KOR before Sir Jun, by virtue of Sec. 4, R.A. 646!

When you "sell" a bad egg, you BECOME bad too, right? Because you are CHEATING! (Contrary to "good moral character"!)

LET REFORMS (FOR THE BETTER) TAKE ROOTS!

For country and people!

THE PASTOR AND HIS SON

This was sent to me by a friend....you have to read to the end to get the blessing...:-)

The Pastor and his son
A good reminder of God's Love.

Every Sunday afternoon, after the morning service at the church, the Pastor and his eleven year old son would go out into their town and hand out Gospel Tracts.

This particular Sunday afternoon, as it came time for the Pastor and his son to go to the streets with their tracts, it was very cold outside, as well as pouring down rain. The boy bundled up in his warmest and driest clothes and said, 'OK, dad, I'm ready.'

His Pastor dad asked, 'Ready for what?'

'Dad, it's time we gather our tracts together and go out.' Dad responds, 'Son, it's very cold outside and it's pouring down rain.'

The boy gives his dad a surprised look, asking, 'But Dad, aren't people still going to Hell, even though it's raining?'

Dad answers, 'Son, I am not going out in this weather.' Despondently, the boy asks, 'Dad, can I go? Please?'

His father hesitated for a moment then said, 'Son, you can go. Here are the tracts, be careful son.'

'Thanks Dad!'

And with that, he was off and out into the rain. his eleven year old boy walked the streets of the town going door to door and handing everybody he met in the street a Gospel Tract.

After two hours of walking in the rain, he was soaking, bone-chilled wet and down to his VERY LAST TRACT. He stopped on a corner and looked for someone to hand a tract to, but the streets were totally deserted.

Then he turned toward the first home he saw and started up the sidewalk to the front door and rang the door bell. He rang the bell, but nobody answered. He rang it again and again, but still no one answered. He waited but still no answer.

Finally, this eleven year old trooper turned to leave, but something stopped him. Again, he turned to the door and rang the bell and knocked loudly on the door with his fist. He waited, something holding him there on the front porch! He rang again and this time the door slowly opened. Standing in the doorway was a very sad-looking elderly lady. She softly asked, 'What can I do for you, son?' With radiant eyes and a smile that lit up her world, this little boy said, 'Ma'am, I'm sorry if I disturbed you, but I just want to tell you that *JESUS REALLY DOES LOVE YOU and I came to give you my very last Gospel Tract which will tell you all about JESUS and His great LOVE.'

With that, he handed her his last tract and turned to leave. She called to him as he departed. 'Thank you, son! And God Bless You!'

Well, the following Sunday morning in church Pastor Dad was in the pulpit. As the service began, he asked, 'Does anybody have any testimony or want to say anything?'

Slowly, in the back row of the church, an elderly lady stood to her feet. As she began to speak, a look of glorious radiance came from her face, 'No one in this church knows me. I've never been here before. You see, before last Sunday I was not a Christian. My husband passed on some time ago, leaving me totally alone in this world. Last Sunday, being a particularly cold and rainy day, it was even more so in my heart that I came to the end of the line where I no longer had any hope or will to live.

So I took a rope and a chair and ascended the stairway into the attic of my home. I fastened the rope securely to a rafter in the roof, then stood on the chair and fastened the other end of the rope around my neck. Standing on that chair, so lonely and brokenhearted I was about to leap off, when suddenly the loud ringing of my doorbell downstairs startled me. I thought, 'I'll wait a minute, and whoever it is will go away.' I waited and waited, but the ringing doorbell seemed to get louder and more insistent, and then the person ringing also started knocking loudly. I thought to myself again, 'Who on earth could this be? Nobody ever rings my bell or comes to see me.' I loosened the rope from my neck and started for the front door, all the while the bell rang louder and louder.

When I opened the door and looked I could hardly believe my eyes, for there on my front porch was the most radiant and angelic little boy I had ever seen in my life. His SMILE, oh, I could never describe it to you! The words that came from his mouth caused my heart that had long been dead, TO LEAP TO LIFE as he exclaimed with a cherub-like voice, 'Ma'am, I just came to tell you that JESUS REALLY DOES LOVE YOU.' Then he gave me this Gospel Tract that I now hold in my hand.

As the little angel disappeared back out into the cold and rain, I closed my door and read slowly every word of this Gospel Tract. Then I went up to my attic to get my rope and chair. I wouldn't be needing them any more.

You see---I am now a Happy Child of the KING. Since the address of your church was on the back of this Gospel Tract, I have come here to personally say THANK YOU to God's little angel who came just in the nick of time and by so doing, spared my soul from an eternity in hell.'

There was not a dry eye in the church. And as shouts of praise and honor to THE KING resounded off the very rafters of the building, Pastor Dad descended from the pulpit to the front pew where the little angel was seated.

He took his son in his arms and sobbed uncontrollably. Probably no church has had a more glorious moment, and probably this universe has never seen a Papa that was more filled with love & honor for his son... Except for One.

Our Father also allowed His Son to go out into a cold and dark world. He received His Son back with joy unspeakable, and as all of heaven shouted praises and honor to The King, the Father sat His beloved Son on a throne far above all principality and power and every name that is named.

Blessed are your eyes for reading this message.

IFKOR INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON RIZAL - TORONTO, 12 SEPTEMBER 2008

Photos: http://renesevilla.smugmug.com/gallery/

IFKOR (Whatever Its Name) Is Here To Stay... For Country & People!

Sir Lino,

As Lazir has said, "usurpation" is relative ... !

Mr Quiambao, Mr Esguerra, Paras, Collantes, Alcoba (and many others in KOR?), USURPED not only the KOR, its logo, emblem, good name, but the very NAME of Dr Jose Rizal! If there's one group not deserving use of KOR logo, emblem, name...it's them and their adjutants and altar boys!

Didn't Mr Quiambao promote Paras (& Collantes?) to KGOR within a short span of 3-4 yrs? Didn't he bring these individuals INTO the KOR? Simply having Paras & Collantes in the KOR is contrary to R.A. 646! Mr Esguerra's approval of similar exaltations runs counter to the same law! Supreme council acts promoting an accused plagiarist and a known racist puts them in the same box!

Why should now Lazir agree with them?

If same group don't have "good moral character", they don't belong in the KOR, per Sec 4, R.A. 646!

... that is the KOR TRAGEDY, the USURPATION of what is GOOD in the KOR and whatever GOOD is still left in it as of today! The group made KOR bankrupt!

... all for their personal, private agenda, self aggrandizement, ego-boosting and self-serving purpose/s!

... all to the DETRIMENT, DISADVANTAGE of the KOR and the good name of Dr Jose Rizal!

Pray tell Sir Lino, what good are the above actions/decisions to the KOR, to the membership?

Don't you agree Sir Lino, the names above ABUSE/MISUSE the KOR, it's logo, emblem, good name? Don't you agree they also ABUSE/MISUSE the name of Dr Jose Rizal for their own selfish needs?

Don't you agree their acts demean the KOR integrity, dignity and reputation!

They want to "hang" IFKOR thru use of sheer numbers all saying "Aye"! (The Jews also chorused "crucify Him!" per the Bible.)

Hang IFKOR and let go of Paras & Alcoba! (...we don't see it but this is what IHQ is doing!)

Analyzed closely, even simply talking to anyone of them and agreeing with them on their agenda is already USURPATION of the KOR's and the National Hero's good name!

Talking to them per se, is not wrong. Hence Lazir agreed to meet with them, singly or as Supreme Council or Council of Elders -- their call -- last January 2008 at the IHQ or anywhere they please! Lazir provided 2 days that Sir Pedro Rosito rquested, plus his CP numbers! They never confirmed nor contacted Lazir! Why blame Lazir for not showing up, when he gave 2 days but IHQ didn't bother making a confirmation on date, time, venue! Their fault!

But agreeing with them, that they are right, that all others must maintain
"the hierarchy", is WRONG!

Sir Dr Fritz Hack-Ullmer mentioned this in one of his short e-mails to IHQ/everyone, that IHQ's instructions/orders (to the membership) to "stick to the hierarchy" is WRONG! Lazir totally agrees with the illustrious Knight's observation/s!

Lazir's language is tough... for the abusive!

It's because he knows that abuse of the hero's and the KOR's good name is WRONG! Doesn't IHQ take the national hero's name and the KOR's reputation seriously? Apparently no!

Didn't we pledge to "fight injustice"? This is even indicated on our membership ID cards...

Lazir is not questioning you Sir Lino.

But how could any right-thinking person, KOR or IFKOR member or not, agree with IHQ when all they have is/are self-serving goals?

Where is Dr Jose Rizal in their purpose/agenda?

Therefore, IFKOR (whatever it's name is/will be) is on the right track, ready to serve mankind internationally!

IFKOR is here to stay...!

For country and people!

THE GOSPEL OF DIMASALANG

Here is a make-believe pulpit sermon of FR* Jose Sison Luzadas, local preacher of a make-believe diocese delivering a make-believe sermon to a make-believe congregation members of the Order of the Knights of Rizal.

*FR means Fellow Rizalist

Reading from the gospel of Dimasalang aka Laong Laan aka Mey Pagasa.

Text taken from part one, paragraph two, of “The Philippines: A Century Hence”. Its equivalent Spanish version “Filipinas: De Cien Anos” that appeared in the 1889 edition of the La Solidaridad, in Barcelona, Spain.

”IN ORDER TO READ THE DESTINY OF THE PEOPLE IT IS NECESSARY TO OPEN THE BOOK OF ITS PAST”

“Lo and behold! I will write a book that will lift the veil that has kept you blind 300 years in a morass of ignorance. I will open your eyes to make you see how the friars in their role as caretakers of the lost souls made you dutiful, obedient and Sunday-religious children of God. You were made o look like their willing victims. Your unquestionable reliance to a Christian god to intervene against the injustices, oppression and tyranny of Spanish Church fathers and state officials is nothing but a bogus ticket to the “Promised Land”. Your lack of education hinders your ability to decide what is right and what is wrong. You will be tempted to imitate borrowed despicable defects of your enemy believing to be the “Better Way”. When all of these sapped your energy to resist, you are inviting colonial mentality and the end of your history and culture. LET THERE BE LIGHT”

Thus ended the sermon. Obviously, the people referred to were the impoverished native Indios who were colonized with no basic rights and freedom by a conjugal partnership of the church and state. Partly to blame of their own undoing, they suffered all forms of degradation until an Indio prophet from Kalamba rising to the occasion appeared and said unto them:

It took one man to translate to the layman’s lingo what ails his motherland. Fortunately, that man was highly educated and a medical doctor specialized in eye diseases. That man was Dr. Jose Rizal. Was this not what we read in the introduction of the NOLI? Was this not what Simoun preached in the FILI to justify revolution?

In retrospect, Rizal banked on high hopes in his novel, the NOLI, on how education to the native inhabitants can be factor preparing them someday at par to enjoy the benefits enjoyed by Espanoles Peninsulares thru gradual and peaceful struggle.

To Rizal, this was the best option available to complete his DIAGNOSIS based on the case history of his ailing motherland. The sequel FILI on the other hand, served as the PROGNOSIS upon which a desperate and concerned doctor out of sheer patriotism wrote his prescription, an RX to Revolution. Well, how about the LA SOLIDARIDAD? “New England Journal of Medicine” is my best bet.

Some pay homage to Rizal as “the prophet and architect” of Spain’s downfall losing her colonial empire in the closing years of the nineteen century as he predicted the emergence of the United States to world power.

There is, however, in congruency if not irony that baffle even today’s generation that the FILI fictionalized revolution led by Simoun was a failure and so was Rizal. Was he not blamed for the failure of the Revolution of 1896 by rejecting the plea of Bonifacio and his Katipuneros, calling the Revolution an absurd idea? Life imitates art or vice versa.

What lessons have we learned from our ugly colonial past? We experienced changing colonial masters but not colonial mentality. Speaking of colonial mentality, one bright-eyed social researcher noted with insatiable interest about the stigma or residue ingrained in our culture that is difficult to shake off. He identified this tendency as “IMSACF”SYNDROME; meaning I aM S(panish)A(merican)C(hinese)F(ilipino). He was amused to find Filipinos claiming to have foreign ancestry when there are no traces visible as Iberian, American or Caucasian features. What a classic case of Ethnic Forgery!

Pura Santillan-Castrence has beautifully crafted words, describing our countrymen who are Sunday-religious Filipinos. They are those who take confession, take communion on Sunday but the rest of the week are involved taking bribes or bribing government officials or engaged in other corrupt practices.

There are Born- again Rizalists” as well as “Born-again-Christians”.They are all “Born-again-Filipinos” who take pride being Filipino again because Pacquiao put the Philippines in the map for winning the World Boxing Title match.

To be a Filipino carries with it responsibility, awareness, pride and vigilance. Without national soul we are a nation of dead race. Yet there is a prevailing notion of self-doubt as to what really constitute a Filipino “in thought and in deed”. How sincere and proud are you as a Filipino? Any regrets?

A Case of Supreme Council/KOR DOUBLE STANDARD...? (UNCLASSIFIED)

Classification: UNCLASSIFIED
Caveats: NONE

Good Afternoon everyone,

Lazir has read Mr Lopez' attachment...

With due respect to respectable KOR officials (Lazir knows a few only...), what makes this interesting/intriguing is the fact that repetitive complaints against Paras were not at all investigated by IHQ, it seems! Or, if any half-cooked attempt at investigation was done, results, if any, were deliberately unpublished/kept secret! Why?

...while this investigation, conclusion, decision on Sir Jun Zerrudo is in the open! Any particular reason, if not outright FAVORITISM Mr Lopez?

Paras also claimed to have translated 'Mi Ultimo Adios' into Pilipino, but Sir Peter Eisele (before he passed away) compared Paras' text with Andres Bonifacio's "Huling Paalam"... the same work!

Therefore, Bonifacio's work was the original. And Jose Baron Fernandez is authentic.

Paras' is the FAKE! 'author' of both works!

Will the same IHQ leadership soon promote Paras to KGCR? Same way this inutile "supreme council" of 2007 ("inutile" meaning useless for being there promoting questionable characters! Just from the 'say-so' of Paras?) promoted the racist Alcoba July 2007 in Paris (after Alcoba's under-the-belt tirades against many honorable Knight members)?

What is WRONG with IHQ is that promotions are handed out so easily..., to the detriment of those few who DESERVED their KGOR/KGCR ranks! Promoting a racist to KGOR is bad publicity for our good name! Hello...?

What KOR does under Esguerra's Leadership is SHAMEFUL! [How could Esguerra expect respect being supposedly "supreme commander" but do nothing to investigate/dismiss a plagiarst nor a racist? Lazir is not the type of member who will just sit still and let one or several (or many!) pull this illustrious KOR to its downfall!]

[Esguerra was recently provided copies of all Alcoba racistic e-mails, reportedly by Sir Lucien Spittael, the much-deserving European Commander that Esguerra as 'deputy' to Sir Hilario Davide, Jr. didn't at all bother to install in Europe upon Sir Hilario's move to New York. What will Esguerra do now with Alcoba? Guansing & Nollas got the KGOR for nothing other than perhaps Paras' recommendations! Instead of disciplinary actions, Guansing the UNDESERVING becomes Europe regional 'kumander' and the UNDESERVING Nollas, who prefaced Paras' plagiarized book, "Born to be a Hero" becomes Belgian area 'kumander'! Should Lazir be PROUD of these promotions? Null...! NEGATIVE...! ZERO...!]

Question: Is Paras untouchable because Quiambao is his KOR godfather? Or is it because Paras is Esguerra's home neighbor/townmate in Taytay, Rizal? Does Paras have the two in his grip?

Quiambao (Mr 5x) created the Paras character, the SHAME of Europe! No question about that. He also created the Collantes character in Canada! Can't KOR rid itself of Quiambao? That's the job of the Council of Elders, if they are upright! What is its function, if not to OVERSEE, right? No case against Quiambao? Well, let's ask him about the almost Euro 5,000 that Mushake donated sometime 1999-2000 when Quiambao was "supreme commander", but Esguerra confirmed IS NOT in the KOR Books of accounts!

Mr Lopez, did KOR registered this emblem, logo, name with the Philippine Patent office or concerned government agency? When? Any evidence to back such claim of OWNERSHIP please? Can Lazir have any evidence BEFORE 2008 ends? Or must he wait again another 24 months?

Canada would not simply grant/nor approve IFKOR's use of IFKOR's emblem, logo, name if any valid REASON exists to disapprove/disallow their use! Don't tell Lazir Canada is so beholden to IFKOR! One sure thing though is it is more difficult to bribe Canadian officials than many Philippine officials! From top to bottom!

How can Lazir explain to his children/grandchildren, that he's a member of the KOR where leadership investigates some, but not the others? Worse, KOR/IHQ even promoted a racist and a plagiarist!

Can you please explain this/these to Lazir Mr Lopez?

Lazir merely asks pertinent questions that matter most to concerned and honorable KOR members, who chose to be silent, but are NOT convinced the IHQ is doing its job well! Lazir reports... It's the commander's job to clean up the mess if indeed this KOR has an upright commander! Also, instead of investigating the reporter, KOR should investigate the criminal, the wrong-doer!

For country and people!

:)

BATO-BATO SA LANGIT, ANG TAMAAN SANA AY...

Bato-Bato sa Langit, ang tamaan sana ay ... (makulit!)

Congratulations to the IHQ!

Lazir heard, it was indeed so "successful!" But, what is the CRITERIA for SUCCESS though, if Lazir or anyone with a poring mind may ask?

1. Rizalism?

2. (Empty) Fun! Fun! Fun!?

3. Kick a brother Knight out of the assembly premises? [Collantes reportedly kicked Sir Manny Bade out of the assembly premises although Sir Manny Bade paid for his entrance ticket and was DEFINITELY not there to "harm" anyone nor "spy" for any group... but attended the gathering out of sheer RIZALISM and to be with some brother Knights and lady friends too!

Sir Manny Bade is definitely a colorful figure, one who speaks his mind and stands upon his convictions! Is that a reason to kick him out of a KOR event? Even Lazir couldn't personally meet with Sir Manny Bade, the latter a busy man earning his keep! To kick-out someone with Sir Manny Bade's stature exposes the ill-will of Collantes, reportedly Paras' TWIN BROTHER in the KOR! Are they not in a race on who gets to the top first? Why did KOR censor this info and yet reported SUCCESS? ...that one needs the rank of a Knight Grand Officer (KGOR?) to start kicking other Knights out of gatherings? Who will Collantes kick-out next, when Esguerra promotes him to KGCR?]

4. The total metal weight of the trinkets/sashes awarded 31 Aug-02 Sep 2008? Did the KOR ship the tonnage from Pinas to Vancouver, then truck them to Toronto? Lazir is just wondering please. It's cheaper by ship transporting a ton of medals, than by air!

5. The NUMBER or QUALITY of attendees, presentations, Rizalian principles learned? What's new in a KOR Assembly? Who got to KCR or KGOR the fastest? Like a rocket, from ZERO to KR to KCR, then to KGOR? It can be exciting at times! That can be "SUCCESS"...yes, if well-deserved! Public shouldn't worry, whoever got KGOR is guaranteed to have passed CLOSE scrutiny by the Supreme Council, per Ms Esguerra in one os his reassuring e-mails! Three famous ones have names like Guansing, Alcoba, Nollas here in Europe! They still are KGORs!

6. The NUMBER of Knights presented as new members AFTER they were "Knighted" at a Toronto shopping Center or shopping mall? No wonder one can claim, as well as report BIG NUMBERS in terms of attendance, when just any character, Tom/Dick & Harry, good or bad, with or without integrity, can simply be declared a "knight" in any Toronto Shopping Mall nearby! Just be careful please not to scare the mall security guard...! Let's hope the "K" in the KOR will stay to mean "knights" not 'Fly-by-NIGHTS!' or 'good NIGHTS!'

Don't let Queen Elizabeth II hear about these exciting Toronto KOR events! Soon even Her Majesty might copy these KOR thingy and start holding "knighthood" ceremonies at the Aldi supermarket, next to the veggie stand! ...gives some nannies a chance to buy food/milk while observing how "solemn" a KOR "knighthood" is, right?

Also, as far as Lazir could remember, no reference was ever mentioned of Dr Jose Rizal kicking someone out of a gathering, even if it were Padre Damaso himself spying on a La Solidaridad meeting!

Indeed, a very RIZALIAN gesture for a KGOR to send a brother Knight out in the Toronto blue!

Was it not Mr Quiambao who MADE Mr Collantes what he now is, a KGOR? Let's wait for his next exaltation, to KGCR!

Talk about SUCCESS indeed!

Sorry that Lazir can only report what reportedly transpired but was not mentioned by Poblete in his report to IHQ!

Lazir is merely asking questions on what he doesn't know. He hopes Mr Esguerra will also spread the TRUE news, uncensored! Then there'll be no need for Lazir to write anything...!

For country and people!
