Far away in Maguindanao
Under the mighty Ampatuans
Cradled in ruthless arms
Killers rule, hound the land, and oppress the people.
The screams unheard, the pleas for
Help, the cries for mercy, all in vain
Ears and hearts, deaf and cold, all so eager to kill some more.
Amidst the carnage
Mangled bodies in the
Pit of gruesome death, crime
Against humanity
They have mercilessly committed.
Under no rule of law
Anarchy prevails, agony abounds
No one will rest until justice is found.
Stand up and fight, men and women alike
Wait no longer, the time is always right
Endure no more, show the people's might!
