At least 100 Chinese Fishing Boats Withdraw from West PH Sea πŸ‡΅πŸ‡

China pulled out on Tuesday at least 100 fishing boats from the West Philippine Sea, according to Philippine Special Envoy to China Ramon Tulfo.

According to News 5, Tulfo said this was a result of negotiations with China nearly seven months ago, when he was appointed to the position by President Rodrigo Duterte.

“I was informed by an emissary who was here that the 100 ships have been withdrawn, and these are only initial,” Tulfo said.

Despite its submission, Tulfo said China reiterated that it will maintain its presence in the disputed maritime territory while promoting peace.

“They won’t be aggressive for as long as our president is there because Chinese officials told me that they love our president. They just want to make their presence felt,” Tulfo said.
He also said China vowed to move to the Philippines at least 100 companies affected by its trade war with the United States.
