What they do is they hire guys who are good in marketing and administration as well as others with financial management when they spot a product or service to cater to such human weakness.
I am not sure if such entrepreneurship one can call entrepreneurship or something else since business is treated as an amoral activity of man.
Not sure if such exploitation would fall under the principle of where some things are supposed to be 'beyond the commerce of man' since there is nothing written on it except perhaps on the rules of ethics.
The rules of ethics bans any activities that is harmful to any fellow humans. However so many have blatantly defied this and the gargantuan business owners are often guilty of this breach in ethical standards.
Take for example Monsanto, it has been altering the natural genetic composition of foods in its objective to control the business dealing with the production of seeds for farming. It is a proven fact that any modification in any chemical compound alters they way such chemical compounds behave. By altering the natural composition of genes of food that humans eat would alter the way they react thus affect eventually the metabolism of those who eat such GMOs.
Knowingly or unknowingly, businessmen who are over processing foods and/or using preservatives that actually act as free radicals to stabilize the natural decomposition of foods are actually doing harm to the human body.
The soya industry people of the US a decade or so ago did a full marketing propaganda campaign to demonize their competing product in the its soya oil business.
They even placed a coconut with a fuse in their ad to snuff out the competing coconut oil of which an American scientist expose to be a blatant lie. It was the soya oil along with corn and Palm oils which actually is a trans fat and not the medium chain fat coconut oil that does not accumulate in the human body.
Medium and short chain fats are directly used by the human body without necessity of the presence of enzymes to catalyze the reaction for breaking up the trans fat to medium and short chain fats so that the body can use them.
The effect on the Philippine coconut industry of this dastardly act of the soya people in the US was devastating that caused a whole lot of families involved in the coconut industry to poverty.
Soya, corn and palm oil have to be hydrogenated in order to prolong their shelf life or they turn rancid in 48 hours. Hydrogenating the oils turn them into trans-fats that accumulate in the blood vessels and lymphatic duct system in which they pass in the course of entering our bodies. The accumulation causes the blockage of blood vessel and the formation of cholesterol crystals that causes a multitude of diseases.
Such destruction of health have been going on for ages that these nefarious business people have been doing remains unchecked.
The pharmaceutical companies are the most wicked with their products that directly cause cancers and other forms of diseases that alter the healthy functioning of the human body with a whole lot of useless expensive drugs.
Not sure if these guys can be called good successful entrepreneurs but their management people certainly are good as they have succeeded in making sales of such goods and services a successful hug profit making endeavor.
For a healthier Filipino Nation,
Kit
