Gascon---"If there is other mechanism... and we can show that the Philippines is willing and able to pursue cases, then the ICC will defer action," he said.
"But if it is shown that there is an unwillingness to pursue justice, doon papasok ang ICC. And I am afraid that with what is happening now, we may be moving to that direction," he added.
Gascon said this "unwillingness" may be seen in how cases of alleged extrajudicial killings are being treated under the Philippine justice system and by the President himself.
Mr. Gascon, what do you really mean by "unwillingness"?.......IF YOU REALLY THINK THAT THERE ARE EJKs, WHY DID YOU NOT FILE ANY CASE?...IT IS YOUR JOB TO CHAMPION HUMAN RIGHTS, CORRECT?......So why were you UNWILLING to file the necessary cases?
....but you know, we get it, by unwillingness you mean is IMPEACHMENT OF THE PRESIDENT.....and why would that happen when you yourself is unwilling to file cases against the alleged perpetrators and furnish evidence in court about alleged EJK's???
Now, more than ever, the concerted efforts becomes luminous, in that, someone files the case at the ICC, then noises are made about EJK by no less than the CHR chief...and at one point in time another high ranking official sent a video to the UN.....the noises are being made as fillers of the ICC case, fillers, not evidence........then the September 21 rally will be magnified, the recipe for disaster is complete.... hoh great...!
