According to Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre III, a former employee of Senator Leila de Lima said that he was allegedly given money by De Lima to deposit millions to her ex-driver bank account, Ronnie Dayan.
Jonathan "Jong" Caranto, former Department of Justice (DOJ) employee executed affidavit against De Lima.
"Binibigyan daw say (Caranto) ng pera ni DeLima para ideposit dun sa account ni Dayan," Aguirre said.
According to Inquirer reports, the other employee was named Edna "Bogs" Obuyes.
Aguirre cited that the two employees voluntarily executed the affidavit and willing to prove their statement by undergoing a like detector test.
"Merong affidavit, walang pumilit sa kanila, voluntary," Aguirre said.
Aguirre guaranteed that the cash in the account would not be equivalent to the pay rates of the two workers.
He also emphasized that there are other individuals who might turn out and talk about the asserted debasement inside the National Bilibid Prison.
"Hindi maliliit lang ang suweldo nila (The salaries are not so low)," DOJ Aguirre said.
"Hindi pa nga tapos yung investigation namin so tingnan natin kung paaano mail-link, kung mali-link ba yun sa kanya o hindi," Aguirre added.
